Learn Guitar Modes

i want to learn jazz guitar?
I want to learn jazz guitar, not sure where to start,i have been playing for 20 years i know lots of chords and scales and modes and i have played lead guitar in many bands.Ive heard arpeggios are a good place to start but not sure which ones to use etc etc or some sources to learn them.
Mickey Baker books are really good as one person pointed out. I used to teach using them with my students. After getting my hands on Berklee books 1-2-3, they were VERY helpful as far as technique, hand position, picking etc… Of course, those techniques were also used at Berklee back then.
Another good book which can help you in scaling and applying different modes to your playing is a book by Howard Roberts called Alchemy for the guitar. Amazing stuff in those books. I don’t know how advanced you are but ANY books by Howard Roberts demands skills. He shows finger-skipping technique, reverse sweeps etc….
I learnt so much from him as far as speed, and string skipping.
